A leading Swiss insurance carrier is seeking a Senior Distribution Manager to oversee and grow its distribution network across the Basel region. In this role you will manage and develop a team of independent agents and brokers, driving new premium volume and ensuring the highest standards of professional conduct and regulatory compliance. You will set regional sales targets, coach team members through complex cases, and act as the senior escalation point for both distribution partners and key corporate clients. You will also work closely with the Head of Distribution to identify new channel opportunities and contribute to national sales strategy. • Minimum 8 years of experience in insurance distribution, sales management or broker channel management • Demonstrated success leading and developing sales teams or distribution networks • Deep knowledge of Swiss non-life and life insurance products and the IDD regulatory framework • Strong commercial negotiation skills with experience structuring broker agreements • Fluency in German required; French and English a strong advantage • Relevant insurance qualifications (SVV diploma or equivalent) • Valid Swiss driving licence
